The kind of a nightmare world you seem to envision is not something most of us are interested in. "More guns is the answer". The one dimensional arm everyone to the hilt. 6 people died. Probably took 6-8 minutes for anyone with a gun to arrive. Too long. Threat could have been neutralized upon entry of school with 0 deaths. I'll take that 100/100. You wouldn't?
The first person the gunman approaches will die. Armed guards don't generally point their weapon at anyone walking the hallway. If I want to pull a gun out and kill you I will before you even know what happened.
Then I am free to start my spree.
It doesn't matter how many armed people there are.
yikes....spoken like someone who has 0 training with firearms. Sorry dude, sit this one out.
that happens with unarmed people, UNARMED. not with trained professionals. Take the L on this one...cant win em all.
Think outside the maga box borat
And if my intent is to shoot up the school then taking out two armed guards by surprise isn't going to get in my way. The element of surprise is an extreme advantage.God bless you for trying to reason with - whoever or whatever they are. I’m at the the fuck this shit level now. I have no respect for those who think more guns are the solution. So more guns but not more abortions. Why can’t they see these are the same two fucking things?!0 -

how likely is a school shooter going to try and shoot up a school, knowing there are two trained and armed guards in it? I think it would drastically cut down school shootings.
History says pretty fucking likelyRemember the Thomas Nine !! (10/02/2018)

i am trying to think outside the box! i'd rather spend the 100 billion dollars HERE in AMERICA, protecting our children and teachers, rather then in a foreign land on a war that doesn't have anything to do with me/us. America FIRST, not last.
no? which one?

Sucks, sorry to hear that. But please, leave that war there. Most of us don't want or need it here.
And I'm not just talking about the so-called "radical left". I know relatively conservative people who are in favor of gun control. The majority of Americans are sick to death of all the gun-death violence. Ubiquitous war is not the answer.

Thoughts and prayers to the gun, bullets, and 2A that will surely be blamed for this.

I'm not an NRA member but I am a gun owner and I support more control. I also agree that assault rifles that were made for war should not be available to the public."I got memories, I got shit"0

When i stated earlier, "more guns is the answer", i really meant in the school district sector. I just dont understand these "gun free school zones". It's like, these places are a murderers wet dream. Lets go kill people where we know there are no guns. I will never understand this logic. We should absolutely bring the "cooling down" law back. It was a law that stated you'd have to wait 3 days until you could receive your weapon. What they found was, a lot of people would who were buying guns, were doing so immediately after being fired, getting beat up, catching your wife blowing someone.....what have you. These people would go to buy a gun out of anger, then 3 days later, they wouldn't show up for it, they had come to their senses. hence the cooling down period. I think this needs to come back.0 -

People can get killed in gun zones as easily as they can in gun free zones. Get a different argument.Remember the Thomas Nine !! (10/02/2018)
