    While I’m not usually into basketball, I’ll be rooting on my alma mater, Furman University! Can’t believe they are in the tournament and just beat Virginia!

    My alma mater, Virginia.  I took a walk this morning and ran into a guy and we were talking about the tournament (he went to UCLA) and I said, "I just don't want UVa to lose in the first round."  He said, "Furman is really good."

    Sigh.

    As someone who grew up in Charlottesville and worked at UVA for far too long...always a great day when UVA loses!  Too bad Maryland had to go and ruin the day by beating my WVU.  Guess I'll go for Kent State now.

    Are you still in C'ville?  I grew up in Staunton.

    This is really funny.  Actually moved to Staunton from Cville last May to buy a house, love it out here.  It's got a cool, chill vibe.  Doubt PJ would ever play here though.
