    I wonder what Hedo would have wanted for dinner tonight? She also liked to spend a fair amount of time weighing dinner options and thinking about her favourite take-out restaurants. For some reason it just feels like tonight would have been her favourite Italian place.

    I next have live music in March when I see Painted Shield. I don't think Hedo ever got into Painted Shield herself, but she would have wanted to hear all about the show anyway and I know I'll think of her when I'm there.

    Hedo didn’t seem to care much for sports as far as I know but she’d watch the Puppy Bowl and the SB for the ads. I don’t think she cared who won but was happy for whoever had a team in it. She’d rather play vids. Or with her kitties.

    I can still hear her laughter. Distinct. Authentic. I'm not sure I can describe it accurately but it was kind of a giggle-laugh, like a giggle that never ended. Weird how sounds can stay with you long after the source is gone.

    ^True. I had a grandfather who lived passed 100 in good health. He told me time always goes the same speed. We just try to do too much in that time. 

    I understand you.

    I try to get out in nature to slow things down. Walk trails slowly, bird watch, fish. 
    I read somewhere, god doesn't count time spent fishing againt you.

    Very specific thoughts about Hedo this weekend, so missed her response/reaction to things we would chuckle about.  These types of reactions would generally include an old memory or three and lead to more laughs.  
    I had to get something from my old phone recently and spent time looking at old texts.  (I changed carriers about 15 months ago and lost my old texts when I did so.)  Some good stuff in there from our friend.

    Hedo had such a great smile. One of those smiles that if she were telling you about something that had made her happy or was laughing with you without you being in the room, you could picture it and it was contagious. The type of smile that some might dream of. Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful.

    If memory serves, and that’s a big if, she was. Not a flaming red head in the traditional sense but more in the more reddish than auburn. Regardless, she was beautiful.

    19 Weeks ago today. Seems ages ago. Although, when I see her avatar, it then feels like yesterday all over again. I wonder what she would have thought of the snow in Hollywood Hills? Maybe go sledding? Build a snowperson? Maybe none of those things but I know she would have delighted in it.
