    In case you missed it.

Respect to Sharpe for owning up to his mistake.

Translation: "Please don't fire me Fox for being an idiot in public".
Would have loved to have seen Adams knock him out.
Yeah I am 100% certain him keeping his job/salary went into that.
Last time you ever saw someone apologize like that on tv?

Last time you saw a TV personality try to fight a handful of NBA players and one of their fathers on national TV?

Just say "acting like an ass" and I have a handful, being that specific?  Obviously none.

The apology covers all of this, he realizes he was an asshole.  I applaud that.  You have players like Zach Wilson and Thibidoux that do stupid shit and never apologize for it.  Here is someone that finally does, albeit an ex player.

Or better yet you'll get a half asses apology that is thrown up on twitter that their PR person wrote.

Just thought it was refreshing to see someone own up to their mistake but that still isn't good enough.

Zach Wilson has how many millions and millions guaranteed?

It's not out of the realm of possibility that Sharpe even acted up on purpose to generate ratings for his show. And if he didn't have a show, I doubt this apology would've happened.

His original statement to ESPN's Dave McMenamin after the incident was far from an apology:

"They didn't want this smoke, Dave," Sharpe said. "They do all that talking and jockeying and I ain't about that jockeying. It started with Dillon Brooks. I said he was too small to guard LeBron. He said, 'F--- me.' I said, 'F--- you' back. He started to come at me, and I said, 'You don't want these problems.' And then Ja came out of nowhere talking. He definitely didn't want these problems. Then the dad came and he obviously didn't want no problems.
"But I wanted anything they had. Don't let these fools fool you now."

The apology is damage control and nothing more.

I thought about this too and maybe it got out of hand and this is where he is at?

Sharpe believe it or not is a good guy, he's not a jerkoff, he talks a bunch but backs it up.  I do not like him with Skip though.  It's working for them but not really a fan.

He screwed up and he knew it.  He thought he was back on the football field, lol.

Pretty easy to claim someone "doesn't want that smoke" when you are talking about a professional athlete leaving the game to fight someone in the crowd.

Also, pretty hilarious how he was all bowed up until Aquamane walked over and then he immediately changed his focus to Ja's dad.

You won Saturday because of a blown call.  Don't foul LeBron and that game is over.

Must be the first game in NBA history decided by a blown call.

    It was pretty egregious...

Flaunting about a game they really should have lost is nice too, lol!

My flaunting was just a retort to Jugg's Sixer flaunting, the timing had nothing to do with the Laker game.
