Thinking bout taking a road trip from nyc uo to Buffalo for Sundays game

always wanted to see a game up there

maybe drive up early Saturday…get to a bar for those games.

never been to Buffalo before either… think I gotta go
Its a great place/experience to see a game.  The closest the NFL has to a college atmosphere.
That’s what I hear…. Been to GB twice, did the opening game vs Saints around PJ20… that was awesome too

    Great people
went to a lambeau game years ago….packers vs. lions when they both sucked….ESPN sunday night game….I shit you not, it was -3 at kickoff….bathrooms were about 80; at least they felt like it.

Actually, that explanation kind of lets McDaniels off the hook for me.  I always thought he was kind of a scumbag for doing that....  but this makes too much sense, and was honestly, probably the right move to trust his wife's instincts.

We were packing our own whiskey. We did drink a shit ton of drafts prior at Bret Favre’s steakhouse. There was a never ending supply set on a table. It was so cold, they were freezing over.

same...everyone was pissed off in Indy but it makes total sense. Irsay is a drug addict and he's likely getting worse.

I always figured McDaniels got some insight into Andrew Luck's situation and found out it was worse than the Colts wanted to publically admit.

Wasn't it the following August that Luck retired?

But Barstool's probably right, Irsay IS a f'ing mess.

maybe a combo...I sure don't blame Luck although it sucked to see him go. We just couldn't get a line to protect him.

Wasn't there speculation the prior season the that franchise was stringing the fans along about Luck's progress or did I imagine that?

Regardless, Grigson really screwed the pooch w/ him. I can only imagine the frustration as a fan.

How Irsay is still an owner is beyond me.  It's not the NBA, that's for sure.

yes but Luck came back healthy....he just didn't want to jeopardize himself further. I think he was sick of being injured (he was out a whole season) and wasn't seeing anything that would change as far as being protected as the QB. Same problem we had this year....no OLine...our QB just gets slaughtered and has no time to do anything productive.

Local writers are theorizing that Irsay is getting too involved. He wants the Colts to succeed but he makes horrible decisions and overrules the GM and coach.
