My Wish List! It would awesome if Pearl Jam played Super Bowl LVIII. I guess the only way that might happen is if Seattle made it to the Super Bowl! Just a thought! We need a rocking Half Time Show! Let’s Go!

The only thing that would make this better would be a Packers Superbowl Victory next year. Lord knows they are not going to make it this year. Here’s to hoping they can prove me wrong!Alpine Valley Music Theatre East Troy, Wisconsin (September 03, 2011); Alpine Valley Music Theatre East Troy, Wisconsin (September 04, 2011); Deluna Fest Pensacola, FL (September 21, 2012); Wrigley Field (July 19, 2013); Milwaukee, WI (October 20, 2014); Wrigley Field I (August 20, 2016); Wrigley Field II (August 22, 2016); Home Shows Seattle Night 1 (August 08, 2018); Home Shows Seattle Night 2 (August 10, 2018); Ohana Festival Dana Point (September 27th - 29th, 2019); Apollo Theater (September 10, 2022); Madison Square Garden (September 11, 2022), Bourbon & Beyond Louisville (September 17th, 2022); Las Vegas (May 16th, 2024); Las Vegas (May 18th, 2024).0

If they ever have another rock bank play the half time show, I will be beyond shocked.0

It would be cringe worthy, nothing plugged in and the short medley style ain’t their style
I don’t see it0 -
Agreed.. I’m not interested in watching them pretend to play instruments. Leave the SB to the pop acts.CROJAM95 said:It would be cringe worthy, nothing plugged in and the short medley style ain’t their style

There is a zero percent chance of PJ doing the Superbowl
PJ hasn't been relevant to the masses to 20 years at least!0 -
The Who and Tom Petty weren't relevant to the masses when they did their SB gigs. Pearl Jam is still a name. But they probably missed their chance. I don't think they're going to do rock anytime soonJOEJOEJOE said:There is a zero percent chance of PJ doing the Superbowl

15 mins to play 5 songs air guitaring? Actually yes I see them doing it one year, any time you can add an extra few million to the family fortune for your heirs. The reason I think they would play it is because The Who, Bruce, Tom Petty, Paul McCartney, etc. have played it. That’s their job, entertain. Same reason they aren’t sellouts, they realized their job and are just doing it.The question is would they be asked? I think they already have been and missed the mark. 2013-2016 would have been prime yearsPost edited by Foriginal Sin onChicago 6/29/98, Alpine Valley(EV) 6/13/99, Alpine Valley 10/08/00, Chicago 10/09/00, Phoenix 10/20/00, Orlando 4/12/03, Tampa 4/13/03, San Diego 6/05/03, Vegas 6/06/03, Phoenix 6/07/03, Chicago 6/18/03, Alpine Valley 6/21/03, Orlando 10/08/04, D.C. 10/11/04, Chicago 5/16/06, Chicago 5/17/06, LA 7/12/08, Chicago 8/23/09, Chicago 8/24/09, LA 10/07/09, San Diego 10/09/09 (Front Row Center, Finally), Phoenix(EV) 11/4/11, Wrigley 7/19/13, Phoenix 11/19/13, Denver 10/22/14, Wrigley 8/20/16, Wrigley 8/22/160

An extra few million? Think again. According to Esquire they don't get paid at all... Super Bowl halftime performers do it for the exposure.Foriginal Sin said:15 mins to play 5 songs air guitaring? "The surprising truth is that halftime performers aren’t paid to perform at the Super Bowl. Per league policy, the NFL covers all costs related to the production of the halftime show, but the performers don’t take home a paycheck (although the NFL foots the bill for their travel expenses). "

Superb Owl halftime act decided months before the playoffs begin, so no way to tie in the band and combatants.StardogChamp79 said:. I guess the only way that might happen is if Seattle made it to the Super Bowl! This weekend we rock Portland0 -

If not Pearl Jam, how about PRIMUS???0

You raise a good point, however, The Who and Tom Petty had more than a few hit albums.igotid88 said:
