    First, pearl jam studio vinyl is mostly garbage. It just is.  Fun to watch in spin in circles fun to play a physical format, but it just is largely a meh. They would have to have someone go back to scratch with all the master tapes and produce a fresh mix that has no compression.  Lot of work.

    Second the one step process is such a total gimmick. $125 for a DSD file to be put onto vinyl is a joke.  I have no problem with high resolution digital being used to create the generally muliple masters they need for this process, and frankly if they get a very good DSD file the sound stage is just superior.  But the gimmick was you were getting as close to analog as you can get, pay a premium. The reality is they found a way to produce a Honda and sell it as a Rolls Royce.


    His eminence has yet to show.

    So, the Beatles Japanese vinyl sounds better. It does. I have both white albums the jet planes are amazing. Are we talking something about that? I'm curious. This could be an amazing vitalogy.

    To be honest, I don’t want them to do mofi. I would love them to just have Bernie Grundman or Kevin Gray cut them and then get them pressed somewhere good. Or Work with Analogue Productions. Don’t bring mofi and their bullshit into it. 

    I do think Audiophile cuts will happen at some point though.

    I’d rather have them do Atmos versions of their catalogue to date. Especially Binaural.

    I think MOFI would do just as good a job as KG or BG. I would just want a regular MOFI version for 29.99, because everything would be from digital sources anyway. I would love really nice audiophile copies done.

    Seeing that Green Day just reissued American Idiot, on One-Step, think Pearl Jam will ever get to release one of their albums on this pressing?

    Linkin Park released one steps as well...

    But I'm with the others. I'd much prefer an AAA cut from Analogue Productions. If the tapes still exist, I'd take that all day.

    But in all honesty...if they release any of the options discussed. Im buying them...  B)
