    Damn, football players are not always the brightest fellows.  I laughed at this, though, and thought of the Phils I know in life.  Can name famous ones but I really can only think of one dude I knew named Phil....we called him Philthy.  He was indeed a dirty bastard.

    On that garbage trick play, Steelers got their first TD in Phila. since 1997, but still winless here since 1965. That game was blatantly non-competitive.

    It'd be really nice if the NFL moved this game to Friday. I think Fox 29 is supposed to broadcast both games at the same time.

    I mean....a regular season game against one of the worst teams in the NFL....Or watch your baseball team in the World Series.

    I mean, the World Series goes on TV, maybe stream (it's streaming anyway) the football on Amazon but you're not really focused on it. But it'd be nice to really watch both games. And I know Channel 29 spent a chunk to broadcast that game locally - they probably are in someone's ear about it.

    I didn't know about 29 paying to show it.  That sucks for them.  It is messed up that as many or more people probably watch the NFL mid season game over the world Series but that is the popularity of the NFL.
    (My point was only that if you had to pick one and you are an actual fan of both teams it should be a no contest pick to watch the thing that almost never happens vs. the thing that happens every week.

    I'm always excited to turn on the post-game and then that guy is on just souring the mood. Just switch to ESPN for Trail Blazers-Mavericks highlights instead.

    not sure i've ever watched less plays in an Eagles game than I did last night.  Even years when they were out of the playoffs watched more than last night.

    And is this team Underrated?

    I had it on an iPad and honestly I had sensory overload trying to pay attention to both. Thursday road games are tough and the Texans played hard. Really good win.
