So how does it work when the wristbands are given out at 4? Does a new line form after that? The line stay the same? Ticket holders will have to go up to the box office presumably. It will be hard to maintain the integrity of the line. Just asking.

P.S. Was the guy who said he was already in line on the iphone serious?

I wouldnt want to spend all day in line only to see it not matter after the 4 o'clock wristband time. That would suck.

It depends on the crowd though. It depends if EVERYONE wants to be front row center at the stage. If so then there will be a mad rush and such. If people are relaxed, then everyone should be able to find a good spot.

This is a similar procedure to when I went to see the Rolling Stones at the Aragon Ballroom (which was a great show, Bono from U2 showed up onstage unannounced, and completely fucked up "It's Only Rock and Roll", but otherwise it was a great set of rarities). What was done there was after each person got a wristband, they wrote a number on it (first person in line wrote 1 and so on). The fans were very good about keeping this "honor system" in place and there was very few instances of line jumping. The venues typically do not police line jumping very well, but responsible fans can get this done on their own. I suspect this will run fairly smooth, although the average PJ fan is much younger than the average stones fan, so there is a bit of a "What the Fuck" attitude that some shady characters will have.

I will probably be arriving around 3:30 or 4.
There's Pearl Jam, The Rolling Stones, Chuck Berry, Robert Johnson......and then everybody else.

that worked out well for the chicago Hob show, people would go to teh box office, pick up their tickets and then get back in line in the order they were already in when the box office opened or if they had to go eat, drink, etc.

as well as many of the shows on the 2003 tour when we had to line up to pick up our 10c tickets in the seniority blocks

as long as everyone follows proper line etiquette, which most people do

    we'll be there around 4pm.

We don't see a need of fighting for closer seats - it's a SMALL club!!!

ANY seat in that club ought to be AWESOME!!!! :D

But...stay away from the first row above cuz i want to see all the action on the floor and the band!

    PERFECT VIEW! :D

Looking at the seating chart for the Vic for a GA show, it looks like the floor is divided into sections - gold, blue, etc. Maybe they are going to distribute the bands along those lines. People up front get gold bands until they are gone and then blue, etc.

I believe those designations are for when they have actual seats set up, not an open floor -- which this concert is. If you look at the pictures of the inside of the Vic, there is no separation between floor areas.

    It's all open.
