The one letter music challenge.

OK, here's one that will perhaps be a little easier for those of us are a bit OCD and like to alphabetize and organize stuff.
You get to keep all the music you have- vinyl, CDs, downloads, whatever- but only associated with one letter in the alphabet- specifically, artists by the first letter of their last name, and bands by first letter of their band name.  
For example, if you pick "B" you get to keep Beatles, Bad Company, etc., but not Bob Dylan (he comes under "D" for Dylan).   If you pick "D", you get to keep Bob Dylan, but not Hüsker Dü (they come under "H").   Also, the words "A" and "The" must be ignored  (The Beatles come under "B", not "T"). 
No extending beyond these parameters.  In other words, Bealtes is Beatles only, not George Harrison solo work or Traveling Wilburys, etc).  Roger Daltrey would be Daltrey solo work only, not The Who (drat!).
Once you've selected that letter, list some of your favorite artists or bands starting with that letter. 
OK, got it?

I'll start and go with "D".

    But dude, here's the thing- your "executive summary" is not the same game.  Different parameters.  Maybe start your own thread?
