    Yes
it's as simple as being in your back yard and looking up at an airplane and realizing why it looks like it's flying "down" the farther it gets.

And it doesn't even have to be right on the coast. On a clear day, you can see the curvature all the way from Mt. Katahdin, which is about 100 miles west of the Atlantic.

One of the only things I liked about the trip home from Alaska was watching other ships far out going over the horizon.  They always looked like they were turning sideways.  You could also see the curvature of the earth from the wheelhouse.
But did you ever see those ships again?

  • Yes, and they have visited Earth
I saw a UFO 🛸 once. Over 20 years ago. It was triangular with an orange light in the middle and white orbiting lights at each corner (those are hard to explain, never seen lights like that before or since). It moved across the sky quickly but silently, hovered for a few seconds and disappeared by flying across the sky in an instant. I was not drunk or high, and there was another witness.

I’m willing to admit that it might not have been extraterrestrial. Maybe just some top secret military experimental aircraft. But in the truest sense of the words, it was an unidentified flying object.

That’s what made me a believer! I’ve been to many a city and many a plaza with people feeding the “pigeons” and not once in my life time, anywhere or anytime, in any environment, have I seen a baby pigeon. Never. Like invisible rats!

You guys nailed it.  There are no baby pigeons because (thread integrity!) pigeons are aliens.  The disguise themselves with bird feather costumes.  Here's rare photo of one of the aliens without their bird feather costume on:

There was a pigeon that built a nest in the courtyard behind my building. I did see it sitting on some eggs. But come to think of it I never saw the eggs hatch or the hatchlings. Ooohhh.

The Catholic Church in particular has prepared for it.  As in,  it doesn’t/won’t disprove the existence of god.

the fact their position is sort of preparing for the inevitability Vs automatically saying it’s not possible is interesting.  They also have pretty extensive observatories and scientists who are also priests.

out of any major religion they are in a unique position to actually know if something has been found

One of the instruments for the  LBT (large binocular telescope) at mount graham international observatory in Arizona was called the  Large Binocular Telescope Near-infrared Spectroscopic Utility with Camera and Integral Field Unit for Extragalactic Research (LUCIFER).

It was apparently a scandal and the Vatican made them change the name to LUCI

the Vatican operates the Vatican Advanced Technology Telescope (VATT) at the same facility

they may be scientists but they are still catholic 😂

I once went to a talk by the Vatican astronomer, Guy Consolmagno,  and it was fascinating.
