    I have a white vinyl bootleg that sounds more than decent. Obviously would love an official re-press though! AIC are not good at keeping their music in print on vinyl. The second hand prices for Unplugged and JoF are off the charts.

    Apparently there’s a deluxe version too. Hopefully this gets announced soon.

    Supposedly Amazon jumped the announcement - its getting announced on August 12th, with a release date in late September. I would imagine a box set will be available on the Alice website on the 12th.  The Facelift box was LE 2k and sold out.

    I have the Facelift boxset, other than the vinyl looks cool (sounds great as well) and the hard back book, there's not much more to it worth having. If they do the same thing for "Dirt" and you can get it during pre sale I would say yeah, snag it. It's a phenomenal album with importance to music history. If Dirt is just like Facelift, grab the pre sale if you can, other than that not worth what people want for it on the secondary market.

    EDIT: To be honest, I think the best "boxset"/anniversary type to be released in quite awhile are the STP albums. Those have been done really cool. Simple with a cool design to them. Throw in a cool looking vinyl and a hard back book (which those do not have) about the album and I would be content with something like that. These bulk boxes with just random stuff eventually take away the appeal. Those STP albums fit right in place with all my other vinyl. Just my 2 cents...
