Immortality, what gives?

Has not been played during the Euro tour and just twice in 2006, 5/20/06 Cleveland, and 6/1/06 Jersey. This song has always been a staple of the set-list throughout the years, being played at least every 4th or 5th show. Looks like it's being overlooked. The great drum solo at the end of the song has been replaced by Matt's extended solo during "Even Flow". Hoping it gets played at the Greece show for old times sakes.

    This song needs to be played, it's almost a classic. I think they'll play it in Greece

    I miss this song so much that I resorted to the version by Seether, please don't let this continue. :(

    the version from alpine in '03 is probably the best i've ever heard. probably the only song that i wanted to really hear this tour but didn't get to.

    i had a feeling we were going to get it in pistoia... but no such luck.

    here's hoping they play it in athens :)

    You're right, this song NEEDS to be played, hope it'll make it's way to the stage soon...but hey, I thought i'd never hear THIN AIR live but guess what happened last night in Zagreb! Ahhh, those little surprises...

    They soundchecked it twice in Verona, it was beautiful...

    One of the highlights of the show when I saw it in Cleveland, for sure
    ... and the will to show I will always be better than before.

    I was lucky enough to hear it live in Chile 2005.. this song makes any concert "special", see for yourself.. awesome version!

    Maybe at the Athens show, the band will let someone else do the set-list? A roadie, or a friend of the band. We all know if this happens, we won't be seeing the standard set, but other less played songs, "Immortality" being one.
    One can only hope.

    it will be the first time i'll see Pearl jam (that's because i live in greece) and the songs i REALLY want to hear are black, do the evolution, given to fly, smile and immortality. i'm pretty sure they'll play the first 3 ones, but the other 2... i'll have my fingers crossed. especially smile would be awesome to hear!

    You are pretty much 100% assured that u will hear Given to fly, Evolution and Black. Also, throw in Alive, E-FLO, Corduroy, WWS, Severed Hand.

    Give the fans some rarities!!!

    Speaking of other versions, does anyone remember back in the early 95 shows, there was a little pre-cursor to "Immortality". Sort of like Romanza to Betterman, Ed would play a little snippet and sometimes toss in lyrics, "had to fly, had to fly"..... Can't think of the show, maybe Missoula 95.

    Best Version is Soldier Field 1995 hands down the coolest solo ever on this song.
