    Stupid stupid stupid, got the eventual first letter as a yellow in guess 3 and brain farted and treated it like it wasn't in the word until I noticed it again before guess 6. at that point had 2 viable options and of course chose wrong.

    Not since you started this thread. I started playing when you started this (not blaming you that I waste my mornings now).
    We had a close word that was 1 letter different a couple weeks ago. I almost tried that and thought no way it would be used again. That might be the one you’re thinking.
