    I use RENTS. E is the most common vowel and R, S, and T are the 3 most common consonants. N is a fairly common consonant as well. If RENTS returns all gray or only 1 gold, I have 2 other words that I use to eliminate the remaining letters.

    I use different words every day. I won't say what I used today, but yesterday I used Ocean, and the day before I used Shear. I also have used Tread, Paint, and Leash in the past.

    I usually go with the Wheel of Fortune bonus round approach and incorporate letters like R S T L N and a couple of vowels.
    Don't use the same word, but it's usually something like STEAM or STORE or LATER or similar.
    Almost used SLUMP today just as a gag but didn't.

    I was just telling my daughters about the WoF approach, and how the rules changed over time. People used to choose their own first 5 letters. but since everyone always chose the same, those became the default for everyone.

    I use AMEND most of the time.

    I might try aurei. I like that one. Never heard of that word, but it’s also accepted with the 10c spellcheck too!

    It's a good one!  That and MIAOU are my favorites and often very helpful, although I do like to use them all at least now and then to keep it interesting.
