Also invested in this set, against the better judgement of my bank account! I'm not sure about a standard release - they didnt do one for the CD version of the album, so I wouldn't hold my breath for a standard vinyl release either. Anyway, the deluxe edition looks awesome!Attaway77 said:
I'm with ya brother, I really didn't want to spend a couple bones today. I just know with TOOL this can be gone and that's it, prices after that will be ridiculous. Plus it's them putting out the product so you know it's going to be killer. Standard will eventually be released but I had to pull the trigger on this limited, look awesome and it's freaking TOOL!!!mfc2006 said:
Really want it, but we are saving like crazy these days. My wife would not be happy. At all. Truly. Damn.Attaway77 said:I just pre ordered the FI limited 5 lp. These things are going quick!"...though my problems are meaningless....that don't make them go away...."0 -

Band was great last night. Maynard sounded awesome and Danny is the absolute best drummer in the world. But the crowd fucking blew. I don’t know if it’s just me but I’ve literally never had a good crowd the few times I’ve been to the the prudential center0

Yeah, my section was brutal. We were the only ones into it. Guy behind me got bothered that I was standing. Guys did sound fucking great though.nicknyr15 said:Band was great last night. I’ve always hated the venue and the garbage crowds that I’ve gotten at every show I’ve been to there, including PJ, never helped. Lady next to me was legitimately talking to her friend the entire show.lmckenney24 said:

I was on the floor sec D. I really do think It matters where your seats are. My section was amazing and the people were just as awesome. Of course no sitting, and friendly neighbors all around.Pj 2010 in newark was also amazing for me. First of all killer setlist. But again i was on the floor, actually hit lotto second row, and everyone was great around me. I know people hate this show and newark in general, but Ive seen so many good shows there including radiohead.0

I was section 212 in DC, and saw two people get asked to sit down. Most sections around us were sitting as well. I couldn't believe it, but ignored it kept rocking. Great show, and Maynard was more active and talkative than I'd ever seen him (seven shows since 2002). Seemed the whole band was really have fun, and it heightened the show; sucks people tried taking that in sitting on their asses.

I saw tool in barclays right before the pandemic, upper deck. One of the worst shows my buddies and i have ever been too. Terrible section, people sitting and horrible security.0

Terrible section, people sitting and horrible security.I've seen tool 4 times I think. The 2nd one was the lateralus tour when it hit Vancouver. Our tickets were in one of the closer sections on the side. They had big speaker stacks to the left/right of the stage. It completely blocked the view of the middle, Maynard hid at the back of the stage, and you couldn't see him for the whole show... it was a rough gig. Especially considering my first Tool show was lolla '97 at the gorge, it was off the rails insane.Luckily I saw them again when I was living in Edmonton around 07... great show.. brought me back..but yah I guess that make bad decisions and/or play of the odd bad show.0

Got mine, officially the most I've spent on a record since buying the first PJ Xmas single (about $115 I think).
