This is devastating for Spotify because original content is the only thing that keeps them from being overrun by Apple and Amazon. And they plunked down 100mm for Rogan.

there is a lot of light on him now and he knows he needs to watch what he says. maybe he will have to stop smoking weed before doing the podcast.I’ve been very critical of jr but as long as he apologizes for this and his podcasts are clearly labeled for inaccurate content, he deserves another chance. And yes, he needs I watch what he says. I’m trying, Nick
my problem is he knowingly spreads misinformation on his podcast. he is talking about things he knows very little about, or knows just enough about to be dangerous. he has people that are so loyal to him they will do exactly what he recommends, just like trump with the bleach drinking. he has said and advocated things that no doubt have resulted in people getting covid, prolonging their symptoms, and potentially dying. that, above anything else he has done in his entire life, is unforgivable in my eyes.
also, the arrogance with which he freely spreads wrong information and nonchalance that he uses to defend himself almost makes me think he is doing it on purpose. like spreading disinformation.Remember to always think about the situation and the context when these words are used.Rogan should have learned when he was a child to not use that word. The cycle only ends when someone decides it’s time to stop by not allowing our/their children to repeat the same mistakes.

The remarks that tRump received criticism for didn't have anything to do with cursing. Calling a reporter a stupid sob on a hot mic is quite different than saying that the KKK had "nice people."cblock4life said:

Has any white guy, in the history of white guys, ever been offended by being called a Cracker?0

Good question.
Some how, I managed to have not heard that term used until a couple of years ago (yeah, I know, weird). So anyway, when I first heard it, being a fan of all kinds of crackers (like last night, snacking on a delicious soft sheep cheese on La Panzanella Croccantini minis) I thought, "That sounds rather pleasant." Call me a cracker and I'll very likely get the munchies.
"It's a sad and beautiful world"-Roberto Benigni0 -
i have not. maybe a southern plantation owner in 1861 might have been.eddiec said:Has any white guy, in the history of white guys, ever been offended by being called a Cracker?
but like someone else above said, calling a white person a cracker is in no way similar to a white person calling an african american the n word."You can tell the greatness of a man by what makes him angry." - Lincoln
"Well, you tell him that I don't talk to suckas."0 -
i think back then joe was trying to be an edgelord on his podcast. any white person in america that has been alive since the 80s knows that you should never ever use the n word. i mean, why would any white person want to use that word unless they are racist, or want to be an asshole?Spiritual_Chaos said:
So you believe he used the N-word like just a few years back without realising/knowing it was something one should not do?nicknyr15 said:

there is a lot of light on him now and he knows he needs to watch what he says. maybe he will have to stop smoking weed before doing the podcast.I’ve been very critical of jr but as long as he apologizes for this and his podcasts are clearly labeled for inaccurate content, he deserves another chance. And yes, he needs I watch what he says. I’m trying, Nick
my problem is he knowingly spreads misinformation on his podcast. he is talking about things he knows very little about, or knows just enough about to be dangerous. he has people that are so loyal to him they will do exactly what he recommends, just like trump with the bleach drinking. he has said and advocated things that no doubt have resulted in people getting covid, prolonging their symptoms, and potentially dying. that, above anything else he has done in his entire life, is unforgivable in my eyes.
also, the arrogance with which he freely spreads wrong information and nonchalance that he uses to defend himself almost makes me think he is doing it on purpose. like spreading disinformation.0
