    I know, heartbreaking.  Yes, he was 95 which is quite a good age, but still, a hard time to lose this great soul.

    I'm sorry to read that Brian. 

    Once, these spiritual monks rented a room at the Unitarian Church where I worked. They were doing sand art in the meditation room. After a session they came and asked me if they could lock the door. The door had no lock, so I replied to them that it's a meditation room - why would we have a lock for that room?

    I dunno, funnier in my mind... Peace!
    I was swimming in the Great Barrier Reef 
    Animals were hiding behind the Coral

    I have a good friend who sat with Thich Nhat Hanh during a spiritual retreat.  I will be hard to hear how she has reacted to this once I get a hold of her.  The way she has talked about him really gave me a good sense of what a wonderful human being this man was.  A great spiritual guide and man of peace.

    I didn’t know who he was. But that picture is from 2007, so he was 80! I hope I look that healthy at 80.

    He was a Buddhist Monk with a sweet soul, a spiritual leader who was also a peace activist and deep ecologist.  He was also a very prolific writer who penned over 100 books.  An amazing soul.

    Sorry to hear this, RIP Thich Nhat Hanh. I like his zen quotes.

    I'm sad about Betty White too, she was the loveiest Golden Girl.

    I hope 2022 isn't going to another one of those years.

    Plum Village is having 5 days of Memorial Ceremonies live streaming on their YouTube channel.
    Edit:
    Heads up: the first ten minutes of the first memorial service is like a memorial service here, minus the casket.

    I hope so as well, Dreamgirl.  I think every year is going to have its difficulties.  This is a good time to try to live well, more kindly, more hopeful.  I know I could do better.

    I find winter a tough season to get through. Im hopeful for spring though.
