  • Hey, I'mGone & Lowlight03 and all you dozens of others who have posted links to these old shows are SAINTS in my books. I appreciate it. And thanks to whomever suggested the m4a > winamp plugin, it worked wonders. I wish some more of the first page shows were in .mp3 format instead, but I'm not about to complain; the mere fact you guys went to all the trouble to accumulate and compile this is so incredible. I've been picking out the shows I've wanted and the others I've been slightly interested in. Sometimes I have to label the order of the songs in the folders (which is no big deal, in fact it's fun! PJ puzzle!), and some of the downloads have some filing system that I am not aware of (the Zurich 2000 boot, IIRC, is that an opening act on those other 4 tracks?)

Anyhow, on the first page (and on the bootlegs website), there is a problem with the files and links on some of the BRIDGE BENEFIT shows.

#1 - the link to the 10-01-1994 Bridge show DOES NOT link to the show, instead when clicked it downloads 'Green Habit Art', a file that's only about half a meg. Is there anyway to correct this?

#2 - on the 10-19-1996 Bridge show, two tracks are completely fouled up: tracks 2 & 3 ("Footsteps" and "Sometimes"). When listening to them on my computer, about 1:31 minutes into footsteps the file begins playing a choppy paste intercut of "Yellow Ledbetter" with the track". It continues on until 1:30 into the track labelled "Sometimes").

I've checked, and the version of "Yellow Ledbetter" on the boot is fine, but these two tracks need repaired if that's possible. I just wanted to let you know and let some of the browsers beware that before d/l'ing that boot concert. It sounds the way tracks do when they're not completed on p2p sharing applications, but only those two tracks are affected; the rest work fine.

I've downloaded the .mp3 version three times and had no luck, but haven't tried the FLAC version. Can someone test it to see if it's working OK or having the same issue?

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++

    P.S.

I've noticed some of the people having a problem after downloading from some of the links and getting a file that doesn't open in winrar (or winzip or whatever program you're using). Say the file's 143 MB, and is titled something like (without the quotation marks:

    "11-02-00 ("

    OR

    "10-27-00 ("

    OR

    "PEARL JAM - 08.21.2000 - Columbus, Ohio ("

Well, it's not a loss, if you're using a version of Windows just change the name of the file and type ".rar" at the end
i.e.: "10-27-00 (.rar" and the file will instantly become a normal winrar file you can unzip into a folder by just clicking on it. Hope this helps.

set: Long Road, Hail Hail, Who You Are, Animal, Last Exit, In My Tree, Habit, Not For You, Daughter, Dissident, Even Flow, Tremor Christ, Go, Lukin, Whipping, Corduroy, Immortality, Jeremy, Black, Red Mosquito, Alive
enc 1: Off He Goes, Mankind, Rearviewmirror, Leaving Here
    enc 2: Yellow Ledbetter
notes: The show is a technical nightmare, with microphones, guitars and lights all failing at multiple times throughout the show. Scratching the setlist after 'Who You Are,' Ed tries guiding the band through the more familiar waters of older songs. Even Stone's guitar fails during 'Mankind' with Scully trying desperately to change out his equipment while Stone continues strumming and singing his heart out, appearing to be oblivious to the problems. Stone is having a blast, Jack has found his drumming groove with PJ now, Jeff is smiling and laughing during most of the show, as is Mike, although he never gets into any of his usually fantastic solos (although he tosses in a 'Sympathy for the Devil' riff just before 'In My Tree' and 'River of Deceit' before 'Daughter'), and Ed basically saves the show by keeping the techs and other band members functioning. His voice is clean (though the sound is poor) and he is playing guitar more often and more skillfully than the '95 shows. Ed tosses out a funny little "mou mou" soundcheck after 'Daughter' when changing microphones.

set: Release, Hail Hail, Last Exit, Tremor Christ, In My Tree, Corduroy, Red Mosquito, Animal, Jeremy, Habit, Immortality, Even Flow, Not for You, Daughter/(Cut My Hair)/(The Real Me)/(Young Man Blues), Lukin, Rearviewmirror, Alive, Blood
enc 1: Who You Are, I Got Shit, Leaving Here
    enc 2: Yellow Ledbetter
notes: 'Habit' lyrics are changed from "speaking as a child of the 90s" to "speaking as someone who taken many pucks in the face." Lots of covers songs hinted at: three Who songs as 'Daughter' outros, an intense version of 'Blood,' with a teaser of David Bowie's 'Fame;' and some of Neil Young's 'Cinnamon Girl' improved into 'I Got Shit.
