  • Can anyone say how easy it is to get back to amsterdam after the gig ... for instance will there be a late train or bus back?

We could hire a car as a last resort, but it means one will have to stay off the drink.

    thanks

My Durch mate said that the last train leaves at 11:30 PM. That's pretty early so I decided to stay in Nijmegen for the night. E.g. Scandic Sanadome hotel is right by the venue.

thanks for that .... trouble for us is that we will be renting an apartment in the dam for a few days, so we would have to pay for 2 sets of accommodation. Perhaps there are special busses heading back for this gig .... any help further help appreciated

I am afraid your only option would be a car. Public transport stops running around midnight. There are only trains from Nijmegen to Amsterdam - no busses.

And Kane is a definite NONO!!!

But i dont think they will ask a Dutch band though...we've got nothing really here..or do we?

Snow Patrol would be nice too in my humble opinion.

  • Hello everyone!

I bought a ticket for the Nijmegen show but unfortunately I can't go, so I'm selling it. I bought it 56.10 euros with all the fees and I'm giving it for 50 euros. The ticket is "ticketfast", that means that I will send you an email with a pdf file attached that you will print and you will use as a ticket (more info http://www.ticketmaster.nl/html/ticketservice/ticketfastFAQ.htmI?&l=EN )

    Paypal payment preferred

    Thank you

Ideal Crash was their last good record and my favourite. I'd rather forget dEUS' existance after that. ;)

And this will be my first time going to the Netherlands for a concert since the Arcade Fire when they skipped Belgium on their first little Euro tour two years ago. I skipped Arnhem last year on purpose. If I get Kane or Anouk or any of your shitty bands as an opening act, I'll think twice before entering your country ever again. :)

Just read on the Dutch forum that it is likely that Kings of Leon will play in Nijmegen! Someone sent a wishlist of bands composed by the Dutch forum to Mojo. Apparently KOL were on that list and Mojo replied that they were working on that on request of the band.

    That would be nice :D

edit I: I just read on a Dutch PJ forum that the RHCP are coming to Nijmegen as support act. The news supposed to be announced at ten o' clock (today or tomorrow, I'm not sure about that).
    Beware: these are rumours!

edit II: RHCP are coming on june 24th according to 3voor12.
  • RHCP will headline a few days before PJ. So they won't be supporting.

    From the official RHCP site:

    RHCP announce show in Holland!
Red Hot Chili Peppers will be playing Goffert Park, Nijmegan on June 24th, 2007!
