Just heard the Watt/EV/Grohl version of Habit from 1995 tour on XM. Just from that song alone, Grohl was the best drummer PJ recruited ever. WOW.

Awesome. I wonder what venue this was. I saw this tour in DC and was right in front of the stage on Eddie's side. I remember after the show Dave Grohl was just walking around the bar. I wished him luck with his new band (Foo Fighters).mcgruff10 said:

Quick flashback.
'Hey I got tix to see this band foo fighters, the drummer from nirvana new band.' They didn't have any music out yet. I don't think. 'And this guy mike watt. He has a cd with a bunch of people playing on it.' My friend loved pj back then. Ok let's go. There may have been some quiet rumors ev was playing with them. Odd band hoovercraft opens, groovy experimental stuff *ev on drums in disguise. No one knew, or really cared. All about cool music. Then foo fighters blew up the stage! Pat on guitar with a price tag hanging off it. Maybe he was going to return it? Then Mike watt. Bass forward dirty rock. A first for me. And my bud basically on stage with ev. He rocked but was just a part of the party. Dave killing the drums. It could never be recreated because of the monsters we've all become! If I could go back in time I would have robbed the stage of picks, sticks and setlists!
What a life I've lived.
