Lost In Ohio said:The email said:"Seat selection will be based upon seniority in the club; meaning the longer you have been in the club, the closer your seats will be to the front of the stage. The Ten Club reserves the "best seats in the house" for 10c members. These seats will be on the floor from the front row, extending back. You will not be notified of your seat selection until the day of the show, when you receive your tickets. Please note, seat selection will be effected by the popularity of the show. Meaning, if you choose to attend a show in a bigger city, your seat selection may not be as close as expected. But if you choose a city that is not as popular, your chances for getting seats closer to the stage are greater."
Something must have changed, right? I thought it went to block seating...everyone was pre-assigned to a block and the earlier someone picked up their tickets, the better in the block they were.

Sucks that Cleveland became such a forgotten about stop for the band.I met a guy at FF show last night with a stickman tattoo on his arm and he said

If I could go back, I would get in on the pre-sale, buy a 1-way to Seattle, rent from National, and watch history be made (screw the vinyl, lol). Then drive to Portland for a day, then take my time down the coast to Mountain View for Bridge School Benefit 10/25 & 10/26, and the over to Santa Barbara on 10/28, then SBA to Vegas to Orlando the next day.Worth every penny of interest.

What a great memory. I was a senior in college and this was the first time I caught multiple shows in a tour. Hit up Albany, Montreal, and Mansfield I. A kind fan offered me his extra to Mansfield III but I turned it down due to being broke as hell. Oops. There was such an air of unpredictability with them really mixing up the set lists and regularly defying venue curfews. Take me back please.9/13/98, 10/4/00, 4/29/03, 6/29/03, 7/2/03, 9/28/04, 9/29/04, 9/15/05, 9/16/05, 5/12/06, 5/13/06, 6/27/08, 6/28/08, 6/30/08, 10/30/09, 10/31/09, 5/15/10, 9/11/11, 9/12/11, 10/19/13, 10/21/13, 10/22/13, 10/25/13, 10/27/13, 9/26/15, 4/28/16, 4/29/16, 8/5/16, 8/7/16, 8/13/18, 9/2/18, 9/4/18, 9/26/21, 9/1/22, 9/2/22, 9/14/22, 9/18/23, 9/19/23, 9/7/24, 9/9/24, 9/12/24, 9/15/24, 9/17/24, 5/16/25, 5/18/250

The block seating was the worst. Thank goodness they've never repeated that awful experience. There was a massive screw up in line management at the Irvine show, allowing a large portion of the line to cut in front of others who had been waiting longer.

2000 was block seating. It 100% mattered when you got their and picked up your tickets. Your section was the same but row was very different. For example at Jones Beach, night 1, my friend and I got there early and picked up tickets and we were row 1 (I forget the section). The next night I went with my girlfriend at the time, and we didn’t pick up tickets until right before sonic youth. I was same section but row 26.2003 was the switch to predetermined seats. And yes, at MSG II I was back of the floor while higher numbers were wings close. It was a great show but disappointing seats for sure.0

Ahhh the days of submitting index cards and money orders and then waiting to see if you got tickets. My recollection was that 2003 was the first multi show per member block seating system as well. Had my best 10c seats that year.0

Loved this 2003 tour. 7 shows in total (HOB Orlando, Albany, all 3 Great Woods and both MSG.) Used 10C for first Greatwoods whos and first MSG show. Wanted to sit with friends in Albany and buddy won tix to HOB.0 -
If they sent this out today, everyone would think it's a scam. Send a money order?! Yeah right.0

It was cool that the tour hit the East Coast in the Spring and then came back again in the Summer.
