Bootlegs, IPhones and Apple Music

So I’m a new IPhone user. I’m used to my IPod Classic and iTunes for music. But since I live in Philly my car was broken into and someone stole my decade old IPod, I switched to streaming music when that happened a year or so ago. My question is does anyone know how to rip cds and put them on Apple Music to use on the IPhone? I got my Sea Hear Now festival cd and would like it on my phone. Plus I have at least 7 ten club down load codes so I’d like to download one of the Ohana Festival MP3’s but wouldn’t know how to put it on my phone either. Thanks for any help.

You should be able to just load the cd into your computer and save it. Then add it to iTunes/Apple Music. For the downloads, download them, then add them to iTunes. Once you have everything in iTunes that you want, plug in your iPhone and update your library.
    I LOVE MUSIC.

I have my iTunes library on my home computer linked to my Apple music account. So I'm able to listen to anything in my home itunes library via Apple music, which is nice.

If you have a PC you can rip it with the windows media player (just make sure you choose a high quality rip) and then drag the folder into iTunes.  Or you can rip it using the iTunes software.

Also, if you kick up the money for iTunes Match - the library is cloud-based so you can stream/download anything you backed up from Apple Music.

I think it's still about $25/year. I more or less use it solely to hold onto my bootlegs and listen to them on my phone.
