Now on to ROUND 3
With this 'WEAKEST LINK' I decided to go with the spirit of "Halloween" and decide on the BEST STEPHEN KING MOVIE. I understand that many great films have been adapted from King's works. I purposely left off three of my favorite King adaptions, Stand by Me (1986), The Shawshank Redemption (1994), and The Green Mile (1999). I just didn't feel that these fell into the theme I was looking for. So, pick the film that you think is the WEAKEST LINK from the ones provided.   Again, thanks to everyone who plays.

Now to the 3rd Round to determine the BEST of these Stephen King films.

You are going to pick the film that you think is the "Weakest Link" after 2 days I remove the two (2) movie with the most votes. We will then move on to ROUND 4.

Carrie (1976)
The Shining (1980)
Creepshow (1982)
Cujo (1983) - Eliminated Round 2
The Dead Zone (1983) - Eliminated Round 2
Christine (1983)
Children of the Corn (1984) - Eliminated Round 1
Maximum Overdrive (1986) - Eliminated Round 1
Pet Sematary (1989)
Misery (1990)

I actually really loved that season - I thought she was an amazing young Annie Wilkes! I didn't like the first season of the show though.

Creepshow all the way. It's mostly garbage. I don't love Christine or Pet Sematary either, and actually kind of hate The Shining, but the 1982 Creepshow is way worse IMO, and I am totally amazed that The Dead Zone and Cujo got eliminated before Creepshow.

I actually kind of liked the first season and though the 2nd season was awful...but, I admit a love for Lizzy Caplan.

There was another season? If it’s indeed better than the first, I’ll check it out.

    Definitely gets tougher next round.

The Shining deserves a category of its own.

Kubrick elevated a pretty horrible novel into art.

SMH. The movie doesn't even make really any sense! But the cinematography is definitely very good..... I think Wendy is absolutely ridiculous in it. All that psychological torture Kubrick put Shelley Duvall through didn't pay off at all. And the kid's character is basically useless. That Big Wheels is the best thing about him, lol.
    The book is good!
