more to the story.  Apparently the shooter may have been beaten and bullied for quite sometime and may have brought his treatment to the proper people that did nothing to help.

    a) he still brought a gun to school
    b) after the bullies or whomever was neutralized, he continued shooting others.

Guy on our walking trail told me yesterday:
    -Vaccines don't work
-Only two drugs do work and you can't get them.
    -Stuff about deep state
-Cops are going to come and get him and pin in to the ground and jab him with the vaccine.
-Told me I should get a gun because "they" are going to come after us.

Poor soul.. I actually do care about this man.  He is dirt poor, admits to have problems (points to his head), and EVERY DAY is on the walking trail feeding the feral kitties.  Makes me sad.  Very sad.

Reminds me of the shit I was seeing on some stupid FB meme about how Merck's covid pill is bullshit and just a money grab...yet the same people push Ivermectin as a treatment for covid which is made by Merck.

And what planet is this kid not considered dangerous right now?  Even if you can stretch yourself far enough to justify it or call it mitigated, it is flat out unsafe to release the kid, isn’t it?

As for the bullying, it really is too bad that schools still are this way and it sucks that we ultimately tend to come down on the side of the bullies in some ways/instances. But any human being has to understand it killing people is not an acceptable response. I really wish columbine had opened up a few dialogs, including the acceptability of bullying. It kind of did I suppose but it seems like teachers and administrators still identify with the bullies since their victims tend to be outcasts.

I admit that there are instances in which I would celebrate a victim knocking his bully into next week, particularly when the adults in the vicinity allow the behavior to continue. Whatever happened to a good old punch in the nose? Instead, we accept bullying as something that certain kids have to go through, all while celebrating America’s symbol of freedom; the gun.

I could be wrong since I’m going off memory from about a year and half ago, but weren’t what a lot of the BLM protests about was for no cash bail, and didn’t a lot of people here agree? So why so upset this guy got a 75k bond?
I agree it seems very low. Just think it’s also the direction a lot of people wanted?

That makes more sense, but I thought they wanted to ban all cash bail.
