    Binaural
I think I can count on one hand the number of times I've listened to the actual Backspacer album. Just know the songs from the bootlegs.

With the above said, I'm surprised Backspacer is ranking so low. I'm sure I've read a few lists (maybe done by more "casual" fans) where it was near - or even in - the top 5.

It's my 21 year old daughter's favorite PJ album.  I remember going to Target to buy it when we were on vacation.  I would have played it nonstop so it really stuck with her but it is my least favorite album.

Ha! When I first read your comment I mistakenly thought you were referring to my pick (Binaural) and not my comment about Backspacer. It then got me doing some quick math and made me think you were playing Binaural to a new born in 2000! That’d be dedication!

Good point! On that note, imagine if Avocado had included Cold Confession, Let It Ride, Open Door and Of The Earth!

This meandering ditty would've been right at home with Pearl Jam's more experimental offerings, such as '"Sometimes" and "I'm Open" from No Code. However, it was recorded during the Avocado sessions and ultimately got squeezed out by songs that made more sense for that release. This one just doesn't match the energy or feel of that record. That would be me. I probably should have picked Riot Act but Backspacer gets no love. Force of Nature, Unthought Known, Johnny Guitar, Gonna See my Friend, and Got Some are better than anything on Self Titled except Marker. Binaural songs are so much better live too.

    Edit:
If you want my full ranking:
    Yield
    Vs.
    Vitalogy
    No Code
    Ten
    Riot Act
    Backspacer
    Binaural
    Gigaton
    Lightning Bolt

Probably my favorite post 2000 tour. They were on fire 2009-2010 live. Another reason I voted for Backspacer.
