So I've finally decided to start having my posters framed. The only caveat is I don't want the back of the poster ruined with a dry mount. What suggestions for get these great posters framed and shown in all their glory?

It’s fun to try to frame these yourself. Obviously the pros can do some awesome stuff but its fun to try.0

I had this challenge when I bought my house. I'd been collecting and storing most of my concert posters for 20 years. I had some framed in cheap walmart frames, but the problem was still the same. I wanted to frame 20+ posters to hang around the house. Matte'ing looks cool but it would of been mega expensive to get them all framed to that level.
I ended up going to a local framing shop in town and paid an average of 50 CDN$ per poster. Custom cut frame to match the size of each poster, with a glass front. Not drymounted. No need as the frames are custom cut, there's not really anywhere for the posters to drift inside the frame.
I'm pretty happy with the result.
What I need now is more concerts, to buy more posters, so I can frame more0 -

Three things I always do when framing are UV protected glass, acid free everything, and spacers so that the art doesn’t touch the glass.Good luck and have fun with it.0

If it's a custom frame job, I take mine to hobby lobby. They do great work and prices are very reasonable."I got memories, I got shit"0

I've used FrameItEasy.com like many others mentioned here for the posters that realistically aren't going to be worth hundreds of dollars, especially the odd-sized ones. Otherwise I'll put a little love and care into the signed/AP prints and invest a little more.0
