Miki Sudo wins her 6th consecutive mustard belt

Probably Chestnut will win again, but hoping someone upsets him like Stonie or Cincotti

I guess Cincotti didn't qualify and Stonie is way behind.

Maybe Chestnut gets 75 or 76?

Kinda surprised they are doing it this year. I'm guessing no spectators will be there and the contestants will be 6 feet apart?

    This dude is NUTS

    https://www.espn.com/espn/story/_/id/29409589/joey-chestnut-75-miki-sudo-485-retain-nathan-famous-hot-dog-eating-contest-titles

Joey Chestnut (75), Miki Sudo (48.5) retain Nathan's Famous Hot Dog-Eating Contest titles

Joey Chestnut and Miki Sudo still reign supreme when it comes to the Nathan's Famous Hot Dog-Eating Contest.

    Nobody else is even close.

Chestnut, 36, wolfed down a world record 75 hot dogs and buns in 10 minutes on Saturday to win the Mustard Yellow Belt for the 13th time in 14 years. His total topped his own record of 74, set in 2018.

i remember i spent the night at a friend's house, i must a been about 13 or so.
    his mom made homemade pizza.
we ate the shit out of that pizza.
it was good, all the works.

after being beyond 3 little pigs.
we decided it was time for "karate in the dark." (me and my brothers invented this event)
two of my friends and me made his basement bedroom as dark as we could.
    the madness began.
i was kicked in the gut.
    not cool.

    im puking.
my friend says, "puke in the drain, fucker"
    so i did.
    it was painful.

that ended our action of "karate in the dark" for the night.
then his mom either took me home or my folks came and got me.

    moral of the story.
never eat like a stupid pig and get kicked in the gut.

    one more thing:
my friend had to clean out the drain with his hands because my pizza vomit wouldn't drain down the pipe.
    he was mad.

has to rank top ten chadwick stories

Chestnut wins his 15 mustard belt with 63 hot dogs and buns this year. he won by like 20 and he was injured (hurt his foot/leg). Didn't know Eater X retired.

As much as I love a good eating contest, I can’t watch this competition. The water dipping thing grosses me tf out!  Nothing worse than soggy ass bread.

I can stomach video after video of “Have a nice day!” LA Beast puking, snotting, & drooling all over everything from extreme spicy challenges, but I can’t watch a guy eat a wet hot dog bun without gagging.

No one mentions the guy that Chestnut choked in the middle of a competition?

    I miss Kobiyashi.

I had heard about this contest and thought it was interesting, until I actually saw it on ESPN a number of years ago. It was gross.

I didn't even notice it until afterwards and someone reported about it.

Chestnut did a real life 80's movie neck-snap move on that jabroni.  He should have went for the MacGruber throat rip instead.

And the adult was wearing a kids darth vader halloween mask and was protesting pork hot dogs at an all-beef hot dog contest ... not exactly going places with his (past) life.  How can you expect to have your message taken seriously when you spend a grand total of $3.42 on your costume?  Gotta go full Vader in this situation.

I imagine his family will opt for the Folgers can to spread his ashes at sea.

Oh my God, hahaha, I just watched a documentary about competitive eating on Disney+: The Good, the Bad, and the Hungry. :DI legit wondered many times if this was a mockumentary, it was so fucking funny! It's real, but the creators for sure made it funny on purpose anyway. I think? Fascinating doc anyway, lol.
It's also totally disgusting obviously. Some people might not even be able to watch it - could induce the gag reflex.

Probably. That was the title of the one included in the 30 for 30 series.
