Just heard about VHD.



Video High Density (VHD) is an analog videodisc format which was marketed predominantly in Japan by JVC.

Pretty much movies on a vinyl disc...

Is there any old media formats that you were sucked into, that never was a hit or had much of a life?

    These babies right here. My dad’s car had a stupid 8 track player when I was a kid. There is still a whole crate of these at my parent’s house.

    I once asked for a MSFT Zune for Xmas, because I didn't want to deal with Apple's proprietary software. 

    Since my Mom never heard of a Zune and didn't know it was affiliated with MSFT she just bought me an iPod. 

    Dodged a bullet with that one.
