Hello peepz,

Does anybody received the Glen Hansard 'Live at the Sydney Opera House' vinyl jet?

On the 9th of march i received an email from them that it would be shipped in a week.

Before i contact them, that maybe you guys have heard anything.

    Are you in the same country they are being shipped from?   International Mail is pretty slow right now.    I think most countries are also having domestic mail slowdown issues, but not as bad international mail.

    You probably just have to wait longer.

    I live in The Netherlands. 
    For example the Chris Cornell vinyl was on my doorstep 7 days after the official release. Dont know where that has to come from.
    I think 4 weeks is pretty long for these days. International shipping is not that slow anymore.
    But.....i have all the patience in the world :). Just spinnin another record till than

    I had sent them an email just the other day, and I got a response from them yesterday actually.

    They said they just started shipping the vinyl and that if I haven't yet (and I haven't) received a tracking email, then I will soon. So, it sounds like we should be finally getting this record soon!

    Got mine today, haven't listened to it yet.  The jacket is a little more jacked than I'd like, but I usually expect that from overseas shipping.

    Ive been wavering between ordering this and waiting for a more widespread release, how is the sound?

    I think it sounds really good.  There were some pops on the second song of side B, but I haven't figured out if it was a little dirty or my needle needed cleaning.

    I highly recommend it. Just listened to it. Live records can be hit or miss, but this is a beauty. A few pops, but nothing major. Very clear, like you're in the room with him. Really makes me wish that Eddie would release a live record of a solo show. Those Glen and Eddie shows are top shelf!
