    I listened to my "random pick" album today, the great self-titled Moby Grape.

    What an amazing album.  This is as good as any album that came out of the 60's San Francisco scene including any recording by The Grateful Dead and Jefferson Airplane.  I think one could even make a good argument for this being the very best album from that time and place.  It's all there- excellent interplay by the musicians, great harmonies from all members, superb song writing, a marvelous blending of styles, tasteful mixing and production.  A phenomenal recording.
