That was where I first heard of so many groups in the early 70's. I still remember my favorite issue. The one with Kiss applying the makeup. Black and white photos that I remember to this day. It was astonishing to see those pictures at that age. After Creem, no more Tiger Beat for me.

Yes, and to this day I prefer B&W photos of musicians. For me, out of all the guys in the band Jeff playing and being photographed in B&W looks amazing. I mean that in a brotherly way. Be different & make a difference. Decency & kindness @ a grassroots level works.0
