seems like everywhere I go theres copy rigths or closed threads etc etc

    that would be because of the strict no camera policy at these shows

    2008 - MSG x2, Hartford, Mansfield x2, Beacon Theater,
    2009 - Melbourne, Sydney,
    2010 - I watched it go to fire!

    2012 - Manchester x 2, Amsterdam x2, Prague, Berlin x2, Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen,

    huh, yeah ... I kinda understand why the youtube thread was just locked, cause it coulda been used for youtube instant posts or what not, there is a no recording policy audio/vido/pics, so I understand shutting down threads of personal recordings... (and the working theory I espouse, it may not be Eddie so much as the movie-industry folks who would own the soundtrack, hence the performance of said ITW songs, hence the heavy-handedness of the movie-industry, but yeah, it could be Ed keeping it special... I like that thought too.)

    But the press DID take photos, right? I'm allowed to read reviews of his solo tours and see official photos right?

    at least i hope that industry-connection is why and not because I put the link to an LA Times press photo of Ed's tour... I mean, that was an official press photo, it's on Getty Images or Wire or something (at least ones very very close to that one, tried to track that one down and buy it from the wire/getty and didn't find that exact one ... yet.)

    without knowing why, we can only wonder ... and test.

    as at all shows, there will be press there, and they usually have a 3 song window to take photos from the photo pit

    I believe he's becoming one with the whammy bar ... which does not nesc preclude your insights!
    Um, no I didn't take them -- am I only supposed to post stuff I've produced? Oops? I would imagine that's under fair use to post a press photo and discuss, but who knows -- i should probably back out one link depth so that full attribution is there, but it's clear it's posted by the LA TIMES.

    I've been seriously kicking myself in the ass over this. I missed out on all solo tix and couldn't afford scalpers. However, I'm a freelance photographer, and, if I had pushed it, may have been able to shoot Boston. The photo editors have been very impressed with my concert photos this summer, but it's not one of the venues I usually shoot at. Had I called with a "pretty please with sugar on top" it could've been a possibility, then I would have hundreds of photos! (Though I'm unsure if they would be able to be shared). Ah!
