if you didn't cancel after signing up for the last one (the Greatest Hits pkg), then you will automatically renew. log in to the vault to check to see if everything is still gonna process (it re-runs the payment 3 months to the day after the last payment)
Any idea what's the latest a person can cancel? So, if someone bought Vault 46, and they waited until Vault 47 to be announced, would it be too late to cancel? Or do you just have to cancel by the deadline - 1/31/21?

It used to be that if your membership was timed right, you could cancel when the new one was announced and avoid it.  That's how I avoided Margot Price and a few others.  I'd cancel then get back in.  However the last time I tried that, it appeared they changed the rules and you couldn't avoid the recently released one, just the ones after that.  Maybe someone else has been able to pull it off, but I ended up with the Sleep box that way (still sealed... need to sell that thing).
The way I'm looking at this, if I sign up again for this one, I'm signing up for the next two.

All you have to do is cancel before your renewal date.

The best thing to do is sign up on the last day or a day before the cut off for the current one. This way you’ll be guaranteed to know about the next one before your renewal date so you can decide to cancel.

a lot of people thought they were fucked for this one because they announced it so late (s past year or 2 they’ve been announcing really early) luckily it’s looking like this is a must get.

Or sign up right now and then immediacy cancel so you don’t get charged for the next one. It’s not like the vault is like a 10c number. They don’t give any preference for long time members.

So you can actually sign up for the Vault today and then also cancel today? I guess that's the best way to do it, and then just keep signing up and canceling as you go. Thanks for the info!

No.  Sign up close towards the end of this sale.  Set an alert just shy of 3 months from that date to prompt yourself to make a decision on if you want to renew.  That way as Tim says you can see what the next vault is and then make your decision.

Have you had success in this strategy in the last year or so? Like I said,  that's how I used to do it but I think the policy was changed to stop that.  So I got stuck with one more after I canceled.  And my renewal was in the month of the release announcement,  just like now.

Yeah. I did that for the last package. I signed up when it was announced in October. I cancelled on Christmas Eve (when my package showed up). Then when my renew date came last week, I got an email that my subscription had changed (cancelled).

To verify, I just signed up and cancelled immediately. That still works too.

okay thanks.  I'll give that a go.  But you did cancel BEFORE the next package was announced, is that right?  Taht might be the distinction.  I tried to cancel after, but my renewal was after the announcement date.

So really didn't think signing up and cancel would work but sounds like that's the better way to do it.  Unless other stuff besides the vault comes out in those 3 months for members only.  Yes it has been since The Raconteurs Vault 38 - 2018 that I have had a membership so it's been awhile.

I just let my membership ride, I am beginning to run out of room for all these sets.

You are still good to make purchases from the vault in those 3 months. You basically just turn off auto renew.

Really getting into the Raconteurs. Interested in any of the vaults that feature them if anyone has any they don’t want. I think the numbers are 2, 10, 18, 38, 40 and 43.  Thanks.

Did anyone else receive an email from TMR instructing them to follow the link in the email to activate your account? The email address is not the same as the usual Vault emails.

I did. Haven't paid it much mind, though. Too many scammers out there.

If the site itself asks me to update my pw to reactivate my account, I'll do so.

I did. The TMR website was down all weekend. They updated it.
