Infighting is getting progressively worse and needs a democratic solution.

Democrats just need to shut the fuck up and chill a little bit. Nobody gives a shit about anyone's hurt feelings. Running around with your hair on fire isn't going to help anyone but Cocaine Mitch.

If they could chill for a little while they could probably sit back and watch the GOP implode trying to handle the wild card that will be Trump, his lame duck presidency and whatever crazy plans he has in the future.

Just chill. I'm sorry but not sorry if that doesn't have enough heart for some here. ;)

That actually sounds like a great idea.

When Democrats win the coalition is large and diverse. This time around it includes everyone from AOC to the Lincoln Project folk. Disagreements are inevitable.

There's an early footage I saw somewhere where Stone says something about his early music days in Seattle and how he learned that using sarcasm was a sort of survival mechanism.  That taught me a lot about the next younger generation from mine.

this isn't new. it's what we on the left do. once we win, we turn inward to look how we can progress as a party/movement. disagreement follows. republicans can get along because they are always just agreeing on everything staying the same. democrats want progress, but can't agree on the degree of progress.

    disagreement follows.
    Darwinspeed, all.

So true.  In fact, it can be beneficial.  Lincoln knew this which is why he purposely developed his cabinet referred to as "a team of rivals".

Absolutely! But assholeism doesn’t need to be.

Grace is fairly underrated these days.

    I'm with Toure on this.
I've spent my whole life distancing myself from people who support hate.
Half my family was wiped out in the Holocaust. A direct result of people believing in fear, hate, ignorance, jealousy,  and lies.
The last 4+ years I have had to distance myself from friends and a couple of family members because of their support for a regime based on fear, hate, ignorance, homophobia, racism, xenophobia,  etc.
I will not be suddenly open to restarting these friendships just because Good won out over evil.
I'm better off, as are we all, without hate and ignorance in our lives.
