Does anyone else's Gigaton sound rough as hell?
Just seems like a bad pressing, and from day one was skipping, and even shifting in and out of tempo. Meant to post this back in March but didn't want to be negative on here in the wake of the album being overall pretty fuckin awesome.
Turntable is in fine condition, no other records react this way when played. Just wondering should I stump up for another copy, or is this a widespread issue people have been having.

    Mine sounded pretty darn good at a high level. No skips and no surface noise. Can't say I noticed any tempo swings but also can't say I was specifically trying to look for them either.

    Mine sounds very good. One of the better sounding PJ vinyl IMO

    I think I just got a bad apple out of the bunch then. That's a pity, as it wasn't too cheap at that time either. Thanks for the responses guys.

    Mine sounds awesome. One of their best on vinyl as far as pressing and sound.

    Yup, no issues here. Thought it was a fantastic pressing. 
    Shame you got a poor copy.

    I have not experienced issues like skips, but I do not think the sound is as wonderful as so many do.  I actually bought a second copy, hoping my first was a little off, but no real improvement.  I think parts of it sound a little muddy.

    I'm going to invest in a 2nd copy, because I just really want to hear the thing in my house. In the car I use the CD. If it was probably any other act I would just write it off as a bad turn of events but I'm willing to take the chance again. However, I'll order from a store in Ireland so that the thing has a shorter distance to travel.
