    Looks like we have two extra to add if needed....I will look at it again tomorrow.  Looks like the new folks would get no keepers but I think they would move to the front of the draft line to make up for that?

    oh ok that's good cause my team and most players last year were actually pretty good. you have to submit what players you want to keep? wasn't sure how that part worked

    Just got signed up. It looks like it is allowing me to pick keepers from the previous team owners roster. Is that accurate?

    KEEPER DEADLINE -- Thursday 9/3 @ 11:59 PM PST

    All rules/updates on the board in the league home.

    IMPORTANT:
    OK....keeper selection.

    Go to My Teams...then Keeper Selection
    You will be able to select the 3 you want to keep./

    THIS MUST BE DONE BY THURSDAY NIGHT/11:59PM.

    Let us know what questions you have/

    To see where people will count against, go to Draft / Last Season
    If no draft position shows, they can be your last pick(s)
    If a draft position shows, they will be 2 rounds higher.  

    Examples:
    No draft position for 2 guys you want to keep.  They are now your Round 15 & Round 16 picks.
    The guys you want to keep show Round 2, Round 3, and Round 12.  They are now your 1st, 2nd, and 10th round draft picks.

    Let us know what questions you have and please don't miss the cutoff or I don't know if I can correct it!

    Since draft spot for this year will be 2 rounds higher does that mean we can't keep anyone we drafted in first 2 rounds last year?

    Nope, you can keep anyone drafted last year.
    If you take picks 1,2,3 you just lose 1,2,3 this year.

    If you take 2,3 then you lose 1,2

    Let me know if that is confusing.

    We are talking and will bring to the league about how we handle this in a second third year, etc.
    Some of us want to limit that and I don't think it is a bad thought but we can discuss as a group and determine what we can do for next year.

    For at least the first year after you draft someone 1,2 you need to have the ability to keep them.  (At least that is my thought and as of now that is the rule)

    One question.

    Will the players selected as keepers fall off the "available to draft" list prior to Monday? Or will a list be generated of players selected as keepers?

    Still kinda confused about the keeper thing. Looks like you can select more than 3 players? What happens if you select more than 3. Do you get to decide who we keep? I wouldn't mind keeping most of my players from last year actually :lol: Also looks like the commish decides/approves on our selections? :confounded:

    you can select more than 3 (tried it). I guess if you did do that the commish would decide on the 3 you get to keep?

    I think I have my three picked out. although like I said I wouldn't mind keeping most of my team from last year :tongue:

    Correction on a Keeper Rule -- I found an easy way to tell if you drafted a player or picked him up!

    The rule we made last year, stands.
    This is what we ruled on last year: If someone is added via waiver wire they are treated as a last round pick.

    I can go to the report from last year and easily ID any player you did not draft....BY THE FACT THAT THEY ARE NOT PICKED ON A PICK # you would have used.

    Go to my page and anyone who wasn't picked on the 1st or 10th pick could not have been drafted by me.  
    Any of those players can be kept as last round picks.

    Sorry for any confusion -- if you want to change your submitted keepers let me know.
    (Way to see this is to go to DRAFT and then from the drop down select "Last Season")

    WHAT IF SOMEONE IS ADDED VIA WAIVER WIRE:
    This is what we ruled on last year: If someone is added via waiver wire they are treated as a last round pick.  (this rule now sticks!)
    (disregard this part from the rules:)  HOWEVER -- we fucked up and did not track via any source outside of Yahoo. Trusted that they would track for us -- they didnt. They tracked waiver wire additions based on what slot they were drafted in IF they were drafted. So, if Eric drafted someone and cut them...and I added them, they need to keep the drafted value slot.
    Sorry, will try to track this year. The only way someone is at the bottom of the board is if they went undrafted altogether.
