none the title (part II)

come on up
climbing stairs call out
sailing through attic beams
these are dreams up & down
like flames dancing atop candles going nowhere
your lit throat
warm & pleasant to the touch
affection coast to coast lies across our sins

(a long)-time) in starlight
outlasts with far away glances

each well dressed & saved flickering kiss
diamond tipped snakes
coiling rods strike from storming summers
each season's falling autumn
careful the steps taken
one at a time
so much coming down

gone are our opened eyes
a simpler way now has what is grasped
feeling out where we stand
carving inside we lie perfectly still with each twisting night

darkness drowns silver shades
the window has went away awhile
fog tumbles across the land
hugging blankets no fears
just a quiet shouting lighthouse
maybe our own eyelids come alive these nights

none the matter
we're the invited
the golden
the spruce
wearing yellow-brown velvet
hedge posts scale the saved earth where we rest
where we play the inner rim

while orange trees burn
touch & die
another piece of fruit worshipped
its spirit given rain
this is what is tasted
this is what is given the pumping vein

lone gone are mistakes
ridding saved old skins
shedding insides
crystal moon's new nighttime shadows run deep
again we continue laddering telescopes
clouds or grass
snow or kaleidoscope splendor
laughter revolves sky-clock's flaming gears
igniting within reach of it all
a song

where songbirds bathe
never lost high up the line
overhead fountains burst with holidays
holding together each soaring bowl giving way
ribbons
chimes
& gentler showers

"Hear me, my chiefs!
I am tired; my heart is
sick and sad. From where
the sun stands I will fight
no more forever."
