The second a pitcher walks one batter it’s over
Not if it's after 27 batters.

Who on earth is keeping a pitcher in AFTER 9 innings ayways?
Pedro did take a perfect game into the 10th. But yes it's less likely a starter will go more than 5 this season

I actually think it might be the opposite.  They might ask the pitchers to stay in longer.  Different year, different circumstances.

With the depth at reliever/taxi squads and abbreviated spring training I think starters throw less than normal, with regularity.

Will be interesting to see how they play it.

They won't be stretched out. You might have a ton of injuries. You might see a 4 man rotation though. Sure the Yankees would like to have Cole out there 15 times instead of 12

Did some reading this morning and am excited to see ball if they can somehow get this going in less than a month.

Wondered what the options will be for the online and tv packages.  Will they be clear in what happens if you buy the package and they halt the season?
Lot of reasons to imagine they are unclear and go for the money grab.

I'm in for one of the options if they clearly communicate.
Still think they are unlikely to get the season going but really want to have this to follow and root for among all of the horrid shit going down.

I pine for the days when that was even a remote possibility.

I've had to go work during all this. I wouldn't mind suiting up. And hit .087
