    haha

So what does everyone think? Are they going to be able to play the season? Do they start and then have to cancel because of a 2nd wave infecting everyone?
They'll start but they won't be able to finish.

I was pretty sure there was going to be sports for a long tile but at this point, I don’t think they even start the regular season. This country is a bunch of selfish imbeciles

yep.after about 6 weeks, a lot of people tapped out. it makes me think how europe dealt with WWII (no, I wasn’t there).....keep calm and carry on. some americans just can”t handle sacrifice.

seasons start in both baseball and basketball but shit hits the fan shortly after. they may find some was to limp to the finish....or not.

Remember that really cool looking ballpark they played in before? Yeah, this thing sucks.

How can it sit next to JerryWorld and not suck?

At least they can catch Covid-19 there, soon.

So if someone hits .400 is it legit?

How about a  starting pitcher has a ERA of under 1.00. Legit?

It looks like some shitty warehouse in the middle of nowhere.  Crazy part is some architecture firm got paid millions to design that thing.

I'm not saying it won't happen, but I think it's unlikely to happen. The last player to hit .400 or better through the first 60 games was Chipper Jones in 2008. The one before him was Nomar Garciaparra in 2000. With the way guys are swinging for the fences and strikeouts still on the rise, I just don't see a qualified batter achieving it.

Didn't Gwynn and Walker do it?

Yes, both in 1997. Best I can tell, it's been done 8 times in my lifetime (I'm 37).

If a pitcher takes a perfect game into the 10th. And the automatic runner on 2nd scores without there being a hit. The pitcher will still be credited with a perfect game.

Not if said pitcher walks 3 batters to force him in, or there's an error that he scores on.

He'd have to advance to 3rd by stealing or on a groundout or flyout., then score on a sac fly (or steal home).
    This weekend we rock Portland

The second a pitcher walks one batter it’s over

Not if it's after 27 batters.

Who on earth is keeping a pitcher in AFTER 9 innings ayways?
