In '64 we went back to PA and NY to visit relatives and Pop took my brother and I to a Yankees double header in grand old Yankee Stadium. I got to see both Whitey Ford and Mickey Mantle- both late in their careers- play a few innings that day. Neither played very well but I didn't care much about that-- seeing two of my heroes in one day was a huge thrill!"It's a sad and beautiful world"-Roberto Benigni0
