    Why would you donate money to bail people out? Riots and looters are being arrested, not protesters. If you want to help get out in the streets and get your voice heard, peacefully, with a little civil disobedience thrown in. Plus if The arrest was non indictable like it was defying the gov order than it’s a summons and they are released anyway after booking. Anyone with bail at this point, likely robbed, assaulted, destroyed someone/something. Peaceful is the answer.

    Seeing as the protests are over the unjust killing of a black man, I'm sorry if I'm not convinced that all the arrests at these protests are legitimate. But thats fine, I was just making a suggestion.

    donating the revenue from these to BLM would also be awesome.

    Call me crazy! But don’t break the law, be a law abiding citizen, be a responsible human and not put your self in situations that could cause you to need a bail/bondsmen.

    That is crazy. And naive. Literally we are having these protests because police abused their authority and powers. Murdering someone isn’t their ONLY transgression. There are protesters getting arrested just for protesting. 

    But bigger than that, black (and brown) men are more likely than white men to be held pre-trial at a high bond rate, forcing them to plead guilty just to get out. They won’t even get the fair trial. But having organizations like that, they can get out, get set up with a lawyer and at least have a fighting chance as is their 6th amendment right. 

    It’s not just about the protests (and sadly the destruction and looting), it’s about the bigger picture of social justice.

    All I said was they should reprint this shirt (given recent events, it still being topical) and maybe make the revenue directed to charities that help affected people. Like how they have done that with a dozen other shirts (eg: PP, Seahawks, and more recently, choices)

    Let me edit what I should have said from “acting does not create change” to “should not create change”.  We as a society will never have 100% compliance on all societal issues. Thats part of what makes us human. 

    I understand that there have been people wronged in this world and I would never take anything from them. That’s not my point, only that before we going looting, stealing being lawless. We allow the “justice system” to do its job fairly and arbitrarily instead of jumping to conclusions and allowing social media to feed the actions of people who will not work with.
