    And the article I linked to mentions that they could have indicted without going through the grand jury process and that that happens everyday in our criminal justice system.

    Some of us realize that the wheels of justice move extremely slowly when the victim is black and the perps are white. Or not at all.

    As I was about to sit down for dinner a news title that popped up on my phone about an hour ago that said the DA was saying shooting was perfectly legal. I didn’t have time to read it at the time. The title still says that but now that I clicked on it it says something different. So it was wrong or I misread it.

    That wasn’t missed at all. I’ve seen it mentioned it at least half the articles I’ve read about it. That was the sole reason it went through 3 DAs. Which is why it took 2 months.

    Heres a letter from one of the DAs I saw posted on Facebook. Explains the delay and the reason to recuse himself

    There is a lot of fear, hate, and ignorance in the world, in America, in Georgia, in Illinois, in the white house, and even on a Pearl Jam fan forum.

    Too many people use violence in general and guns in particular to deal with their fear, hate, and ignorance.

    Whatever news app came factory installed on my iPhone.i never installed any and rarely pay attention when they pop up.
    Not sure what difference it makes since I said I probably just misread it as it popped up while I was getting the family ready for dinner and I just glanced at it.

    So the letter says:
    The victim's mother wants me recused from the case because there is a conflict of interest and she believes I am protecting my friend.

    These are career professional attorneys. If there was a whiff of conflict of interest, this particular DA should have never been assigned in the first place.

    This letter doesn't help your case or prove your point at all. It strengthens the case that the DA was specifically assigned to cover up for his buddy.

    No better way to manufacture a cover up than to drag feet and get the case tied up in bureaucratic red tape.
