Record Player Setup vs Cervelo R-Series bike

Contemplating whether to save for a record player setup or save for a new bike. Record player setup would be about $1500-$2k tops. What I'm willing to spend. 
The Cervelo R-Series bike is just a beautiful machine. I really want to step up my cycling with a new, lighter bike. Anywhere from $3k and up.

The record player is year round enjoyment. I just wouldn't spend much time listening to records. The bike would be for good weather riding. I have another bike for harsher, cold weather riding.

Any feedback is appreciated. Dont really have a brand in mind for the record player. Consider i have no music system except for a Pono and Bose speaker. In an apartment, its sufficient.

    Yea, I'm seriously leaning towards the bike. I love vinyl but just don't think I'd spend near as much time with it as I would out riding.
