Ideal teachers are those who use themsleves as bridges over which they invite their students to cross, then having facilitated their crossing, joyfully collapse, encouraging them to create bridges of their own. ~ Nikos Kazantzakis

    Kazantzakis-- brilliant!

Pap, by any chance do you know the quote from Mr. Kazantzakis about how we are alone in which he used the metaphor of a bloat floating in the fog or the ocean or something to that affect?  I remember it from way back in the early 70's but can't recall which book it is from.  My sister told me that quote changed her life.
"It's a sad and beautiful world"

^  My father is a big fan of his work! The man knows most of Kazantzakis' renowned and unknown quotes by heart!.. :open_mouth: The one you referred to here must be from his book entitled Ascesis: The Saviors of God.

    Don't feed them,
    That's what they want.
    Leave them to gather alone,
And they'll only have themselves to feed upon.
