Mike playing with country singer video

So perhaps this was shared back in February, but I check this board and other sites daily and never heard anything about it. Apparently Mike joined country act Dierks Bentley on stage in L.A. in February to play two songs, including the classic 'Crossroads'. Mike does play some solos, but unfortunately he does have some trouble with his guitar staying plugged in, and to me it sounds like he must not have rehearsed much, but anyways, still interesting....

If this was brought up before, sorry, but I am sure it will be new to someone.

    Very cool thanks for sharing. Never been much of a country fan but this Dierks Bentley sounds pretty good. Maybe its that he's playing with Mike or maybe it's time for me to give country music a chance.

    Here's a piece of advice.... never EVER turn on a country radio station.

    There is tons of good country out there. Little of it happens to be on country radio stations though.

    Yeah pretty much...with the exception of grunge I guess :) So what are some good country groups out there I can download that aren't on country radio?

    Depends... you could stick with classics (Cash, Jennings, etc) or try some newer (relatively) guys like Dwight Yoakum and Hank III.

    dierks is not bad at all, (pronounced "dirks"), most of his songs are about the road or driving or hot girls who make him do crazy stuff, maybe a train or two here and there.... 'what was i thinkin' is a cool one too....


    jason aldean is a newer kid who has the attitude and the honky tonk kickass style, even has a song called johnny cash, and most of his songs have cool guitar riffs and solos that could be rock very easily
