What town would make a better weekend trip?
Cleveland,  for sure,  unless there's a Buckeye game.  With Cleveland you could do the Rock hall and the pro football hof. It also has great ethnic areas,  whereas Columbus is a bit more sterile.

As a Sox fan I'd love to see PJ at New Comiskey, but I'm not holding my breath.

I'm fine going back to Wrigley Field, but would prefer something different this time around. The United Center is a solid venue, but there could be issues with ticket availability. There's Soldier Field, but I don't think that's a great concert venue. If only there were another option...

    Alpine Valley!!!
Alpine or Soldier Field is a no-brainer for me.  I have done both and Soldier Field is the clear winner, just one big long show, again. Sound is not as good, but atmosphere would make up for that plus.
Soldier Field 7-11-95, Alpine Valley 6-26-98, United Center 6-29-98, Riverport Amphitheater (St. Louis)7-2-98, MGM Grand Arena 10-22-00, Sprint Center (Kansas City)5-3-10, Adams Event Center (Missoula)9-30-12, Wrigley Field 7-19-13, Jobing.com Arena (Phoenix)11-19-13, Moda Center (Portland)11-29-13, Spokane Arena 11-30-13, Pepsi Center (Denver)10-22-14, Gila River Arena (Phoenix)5-9-22, Moody Center (Austin)9-18-23, Moody Center 9-19-23, Rogers Arena (Vancouver)5-4-24, Rogers Arena 5-6-24, MGM Grand 5-16-24, MGM Grand 5-18-24, Wrigley Field 8-29-24, Wrigley Field 8-31-24, Nashville 5-6-25, Nashville 5-8-25

Wishlists are fun, but they're not intel. These threads are best when people actually start hearing things.

They've made every stadium show an event. They got so many of us in the door to experience it. The ballpark shows have been awesome.

Guns n' Roses announced for Fenway. This calendar is starting to look pretty full considering there are only so many shows there per year.

If they were doing ballpark I think we would have known by now like we did in 2013/16/18.

Same for Wrigley... seems like the only true weekend dates left at Wrigley is the same weekend as Riot Fest in Chicago.

Ugh, God please don't do Alpine.

  • Are there any "concrete" rumours yet? Im interested in saving a week vacation time for the fall.

I'm thinking that they haven't set anything yet.  Obviously I don't know anything but I just get the impression that these tour legs are planned on the fly.

Probably want to sell as much as possible for the 3 shows with tickets still available

Maybe.  But you know that feeling you get about certain people in your life.  Maybe they're always late or scrambling to get work done.  That's the feeling I get.
