wait what, you can't edit a poll it completely changes the take.
How does that change the take?  Are you now saying Byrne if you think of the entire 4.5 min?

originally was about the end, the end is very very very VERY Bowie.   The beginning is very much Byrne.  It is a mash up of the two, not the one or the other, but in separate sections
His eminence has yet to show.

Point taken, and my apologies to anyone else who did vote based on my initial wording.

I wish I was a sacrifice, but somehow still lived on.

I listened to The Talking Heads greatest hits the other day...wasn't impressed.  So I hope people stop comparing DotC to them.

I hear the Who, the Heads and Bowie and it's not surprising as Townshend was a huge Bowie and Eno(went to the same Art school as PT) fan and Eno and Bowie were big Who fans not to mention Eddie's worship of all things Who. All these guys were very innovative and pushed boundaries with each release seeing a shift from the previous one and PJ has achieved this with this bad ass song. As a fan I feel grateful that they can still move me this late in the game cause I had my doubts after the last 2 albums.
