What are you guys hoping for? GA or Best "Seats" in the house?
At 32 years old I'm not sure if I prefer GA or a reserved seat near the stage. I feel like Im leaning towards GA even though I know its gonna be a long ass day and I wont be getting any merch if i want to close to the band. Getting reserved seats means I'll wait in line for some merch (maybe a couple hours as oppose to 6 hrs for GA) I can grab a beer and not worry about my seats?
What are most of you folks hoping for when all these seats get confirmed?? Just thought I'd shoot the shit while 10C sorts everything out

I love GA but wouldn't mind the freedom that comes with reserved. I just don't want to be seated way back on the floor, put me on the side please.

Reserve seat assignments aren't really a matter of hope, right?0

GA. Never been in an Arena GA pit. I've been on the rail at a festival, but it was different with the VIP's in front of us.0

Would love GA. The main thing that gets me about seats is if you get stuck with people that constantly slide by you for whatever the case may be throughout the night.Pittsburgh 2013. Cincinnati 2014. Greenville 2016. Columbia 2016. Ft Worth x2 2023. Austin x2 2023. Atlanta x2 2025.0

GA, back of GA is better than most seats in the arenaPost edited by NewfieintheUSA on0

Back of GA is the best place to be IMO. Plenty of room to do whatever.0

If I get GA I hang in the back of the crowd. I like being able to get a beer and not having to move around people. Depends on the size of the area though. Wrigley GA was insane anywhere in the middleRemember the Thomas Nine !! (10/02/2018)

I keep hearing back of GA is good. I've only chilled in the back for smaller shows and quite like it. I don't know what the view would be with everyone standing in front of you at a PJ show especially since the girlfriend is a bit of a shorty. I'm excited to hear where people end up and what they prefer.0

There is 10 - 15 feet between you and the crush. Plenty of great space to get a great view and, um, you can actually consume a beer and not fear losing your spot when nature calls, hopefully when Evenflow starts.Deegz said:I keep hearing back of GA is good. GA as close to McCready as I can get. 4 rows back of MM at Moline was an unforgettable experience.I’ve noticed a lot of people loving the back of the GA and I agree. After being up close on the first show or two of a tour leg
we are more than happy to relax at the back. Was on the rail for Seattle2 (albeit off to the side) and was leaning against the back rail for Missoula. Great time at both shows although the back rail at a stadium is a bit farther back than I’d like to be. In an arena it’s great.0 -
Room to dance with your shorty too.Deegz said:I keep hearing back of GA is good. I've only chilled in the back for smaller shows and quite like it. I opted for best available in L.A. because the pit looked pretty small. I have a 5-digit 10c # so if don’t get pits, the seats will be close to the stage.0

been all over the front in row 1-8 left, right, center.Mid to back of GA is where i like to be. Best sound. Best view. Think peripheral vision. Can see it all.Rail and center you cant hear shit. The sound blows past the firsT 4 rows.Im lucky to have a low number and reserved is possibly better than GA. Just depends on the show and set up. GA at Wrigley....no effing way. Way too big and too many people0

Kinda wish on back to back shows, LA or Oakland, they would do ga just one night. The secondary lottery to get rows 1,2 9,10 was awesome.Soldier Field 7-11-95, Alpine Valley 6-26-98, United Center 6-29-98, Riverport Amphitheater (St. Louis)7-2-98, MGM Grand Arena 10-22-00, Sprint Center (Kansas City)5-3-10, Adams Event Center (Missoula)9-30-12, Wrigley Field 7-19-13, Jobing.com Arena (Phoenix)11-19-13, Moda Center (Portland)11-29-13, Spokane Arena 11-30-13, Pepsi Center (Denver)10-22-14, Gila River Arena (Phoenix)5-9-22, Moody Center (Austin)9-18-23, Moody Center 9-19-23, Rogers Arena (Vancouver)5-4-24, Rogers Arena 5-6-24, MGM Grand 5-16-24, MGM Grand 5-18-24, Wrigley Field 8-29-24, Wrigley Field 8-31-24, Nashville 5-6-25, Nashville 5-8-250

Only place not packed in Wrigley GA 16 and 18 was the far sides. In 16 we were crushed to the back rail about the width of the stage... was scary. Most arena shows have room in back...Deegz said:I keep hearing back of GA is good. I've only chilled in the back for smaller shows and quite like it. Reserved are great if you want freedom but I want GA, and I’ll arrived 5 mins before they start. GA in AZ is gonna be way smaller than 2013 and there was sooooooooo much room after the first 40 feet or so to move around. 40-80 feet from the stage? Yes pleaseDeegz said:At 32 years old I'm not sure if I prefer GA or a reserved seat near the stage. Not queuing for GA resolves a lot of your conundrums. I’ve showed up maybe 30 mins prior, gotten merch and then gone to the pit. We did ok, showing up around 4pm for the ones we went too.. would usually get around 12 to 15 people deep centre stage.... They filled up pretty dense. I've only been to one Arena pit show (Vancouver '13), so it'll be nice to have it scaled back a notch for this tour
In regards to the original post. I always want GA. The seats don't start until after the pit. Runner up would be side stage tix.0 -
I mean I am sure all of us want either GA or front row lol
Honestly, I am in the building so whatever my seats might be I am gonna have a good time0 -
Somehow, all these decades later, I still love "Even Flow," whether on the radio (whereas I'll turn the dial from "Daughter" or "Better Man") or live...you'll find me heading to the beer line, bathroom (or both) during "Alive" or "Ledbetter"!YAKIMATSU said:
