    I watched both last night.....wasn't expecting the Matt Ryan storyline, that was kinda cool

    it was ok, I know it wasn't finished and just a "test pilot". Also wasn't expecting it when it aired. They touched it up pretty well.

    yea the first one was a pilot that they aired last year and it was good. It would have gotten better as it went along. It even tested higher than The Goldbergs pilot

    I don’t know what you guys are talking about....”Schooled” sucks big time. I couldn’t take more than 10 minutes of it. 


    Loved Goldbergs tonight though. The DuPont reference was awesome. Wonder how many people outside of the area or who didn’t see the movie got it.

    Oh well, I dug it.

    Goldbergs was pretty good with the running of the mile (although when we ran it, we didn't do it in a neighborhood) and Charles Barkley making a cameo was pretty funny.  and a Sixers/Barkley reference in there towards the end.

    Yeah, the neighborhood run for a mile was just so they could fit the Rosie Ruiz storyline in, realistically you just do 4 laps on the track.

    Then the punchline comes.

    As soon as they mentioned the Kremps' cousin "Evan visiting from Boston" had a feeling it was an Evan Dando reference even though I didn't know about the real life connection.

    was there any real life connection? He's from the Boston area, so don't think there was except that his band formed in the 80's. Still good episode though.

    Apparently he really is cousin of Chad Kremp, and Goldberg had met him at some weddings etc.

    And then used to see him play when he lived in NYC in the 90's a fair amount.

    I f’n loved Stumptoen.  Was gutted that they cancelled it due to the pandemic.  Thought it was just hitting its stride.
